We celebrate the passages of our lives to share them with our families and friends as well as for ourselves. The pictures that show our loved ones sharing in our celebrations are precious beyond measure long after the event.

As the pictures we got from our parents connect us with people we may never have met, so the pictures we take today may provide the only link that those who come after us may have to our lives today.

Chris and Sheryl's wedding

Wedding 1: The Newlyweds

Wedding 2: The Family

Wedding 3: The Well Wishers

Wedding 4: The Kids

When Christopher and Sheryl were married, a professional photographer took the usual formal pictures, and they were excellent.
The guests, including the children, took pictures at the reception with single use cameras.
The majority of the pictures were really good (including those taken by the children!), and most of the rest yielded good results when cropped and repaired.
Some of the pictures were simply priceless. They captured moments that would otherwise have been entirely missed.
These were the only photos that really showed the guests at the celebration -- that tied the family and friends to the event.
The 378 photos were too much for a single album, but fell rather naturally into four of about equal size, after removing those few that were not useful.

When Christopher and Sheryl were married in September of 1999, the guests captured candid memories of the reception with single use cameras they found on each of the fourteen dining tables.  The newlyweds own the copyrights to the resulting 378 photos, so they can happily share the best of these in a digital album on the Internet.
